Using the lid would prevent the rice from getting dry in the Handai. The wooden lid can absorb moisture and allows to use the Handai as Ohitsu (cooked rice container).
*This item does not include Handai.

[Precaution]
-Due to the feature of Sawara wood, wood tar may appear on the surface.
-NOT dishwasher safe.
-Do not wash with detergent. We recommend washing with water and Tawashi brush.
