[Features]
The interior of Japanese mortar is carved with ridges called "kushime", meaning comb pattern. Yamase ceramics makes the kushime by hand carving which enables to make sharp ridges to smoothly grind the ingredients. The interior of the mortar is enamel coated to prevent the smell of ingredients. The mortar is baked by high temperature to enhance durability.
It can be used as a salad bowl by making dressing and mixing vegetables inside the mortar.

[Precaution]
-There may be white spots seen in the interior due to the manufacturing process.
-Please avoid grinding very hard ingredients.
-Dishwasher safe
